Hodgson Vo-Tech scored the most points they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 52-51 to the Red Lion Christian Academy Lions. The Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Red Lion Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jahleer Haley led the charge by dropping a double-double with 20 points and 16 rebounds. Thanks to that strong game, Haley now owns an excellent 46.2% shooting accuracy. Owen Griffing was another key player, shooting 40% from the field to rack up 15 points.

Hodgson Vo-Tech's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Red Lion Christian Academy, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hodgson Vo-Tech will host Polytech at 5:00 p.m. on January 6, 2026.
