Cotter strolled into their game on Wednesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Piggott Mohawks. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Warriors have posted since August 26, 2024.

Cotter had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 19-25, 25-21, 25-19, 15-10.

Cotter's victory bumped their record up to 19-0. As for Piggott, their defeat ended a 14-match streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 22-6.

Cotter does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Piggott, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Holcomb at 6:00 p.m. on October 9, 2026.
