Basketball Recap: Jefferson Comes Up Short

Jefferson was the 58-47 winner over Belvidere when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Jefferson J-Hawks fell just short of the Belvidere Bucs by a score of 64-61 on Friday. The J-Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Belvidere, they moved to 6-11 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Guilford the next time they take the court. Jefferson will host Guilford at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Belvidere will host them at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
