The Madison Patriots will challenge the Rosman Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Madison is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.9 runs per game this season.

Madison is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Mountain Heritage just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 5-4.

Madison saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addie Sams, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Layla Rhinehart also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Meanwhile, Rosman lost 14-3 to Mitchell on Friday.

Shelby Cloutier was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 2-for-2.

Madison's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 4-3. As for Rosman, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.

Madison took their win against Rosman in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 10-0. Does Madison have another victory up their sleeve, or will Rosman turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
