Baseball Recap: Arlington Takes a Loss

Arlington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Collierville Dragons, falling 15-2. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since May 3, 2024, but that streak is no more.

Arlington's loss dropped their record down to 15-15. As for Collierville, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 25-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Arlington will face off against Northpoint Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Trojans' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Tigers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Collierville, they will square off against Germantown at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Dragons' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Red Devils have averaged an impressive 9.6 runs per game this season.
