Recap: Wood River vs. Kenesaw
The Kenesaw Blue Devils were the 58-52 winners over the Wood River Eagles when they previously met earlier this month. This past Friday? They had no such luck. Kenesaw was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 31-26 to Wood River. The Blue Devils' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
The Blue Devils' loss pushed them down to 10-12. The victory improved Wood River's record to 8-13.
The Blue Devils will take on Franklin Monday. As for Wood River, Wood River and Minden will go head to head Monday in their first playoff game of the year. Minden took a loss in their last contest and are no doubt out to reverse Wood River's good fortune.
