Tawas Area's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They managed a 38-32 win over the Kalkaska Blazers. The Braves have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Blazers, too.

Tawas Area is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.0 points on average over those games. Kalkaska's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-17.
