Soccer Game Preview: Rice Consolidated vs. Columbus

Rice Consolidated hasn't had much luck against Columbus recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Rice Consolidated Raiders will venture away from home to square off against the Columbus Cardinals at 7:00 p.m.

Rice Consolidated fell victim to El Campo and their airtight defense on Friday. They lost 9-0 to the Ricebirds. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Columbus played against Wharton on Friday and won via forfeit.

The win made it two in a row for Columbus and bumps their season record up to 7-7-4. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two games. As for Rice Consolidated, their loss dropped their record down to 11-9-2.
