After a string of seven wins, Springtown's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell just short of the Boyd Yellowjackets by a score of 2-1. The Porcupines were not able to make up for their loss to the Yellowjackets from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Libby Tedder paced Springtown's offense, picking up 12 kills. Tedder got some help from Bailey Walker and her 13 assists. Finally, Reagan Beall kept Springtown's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.
