Basketball Recap: Notre Dame Cristo Rey Extends Winning Streak to 12

Notre Dame Cristo Rey came tearing into Monday's contest with 11 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.5 points), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 58-51 win over Cristo Rey. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 143rd, while Cristo Rey are ranked 306th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Notre Dame Cristo Rey to victory, but perhaps none more so than S Garcia, who posted 16 points.
