Recap: Robinson Senators vs. Mills University Studies Comets
It was a good run, but The Robinson Senators unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 30-21 to Mills University Studies. Robinson was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Mills University Studies apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2022.
Robinson's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Jaylen Knowlton, who rushed for 105 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries, and Nick Abrams who rushed for 100 yards and a touchdown.
Among those leading the charge was Akyell Madison, who rushed for 102 yards on only 13 carries, and also threw for 188 yards and a touchdown while completing 72.2% of his passes. Another player making a difference was Chauncey Haynes, who picked up 110 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Robinson's loss dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Mills University Studies, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-1.
Robinson will head out on the road to face off against White Hall at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. White Hall is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak. As for Mills University Studies, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Morrilton at 7:00 p.m.
