Volleyball Recap: Houma Christian's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Houma Christian entered their tilt with Covenant Christian Academy on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Lions. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Warriors have posted since September 18th.

Houma Christian had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 23-25, 25-13, 25-21, 15-12.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Houma Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Addison Billiot, who had 26 digs and two aces. Those 26 digs gave Billiot a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Riley Folse, who had nine digs and two aces.

Houma Christian's victory bumped their record up to 19-8. As for Covenant Christian Academy, with the defeat, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 23-14.

Coming up, Houma Christian will challenge Centerville at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Covenant Christian Academy, they will take on South Terrebonne at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
