Brighton extended their winning streak to three on Thursday, bumping their season record up to 8-12 in the process. They blew past the Alta Hawks 7-1. Considering the Bengals have won six matchups by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Alison Nikolaus made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off seven hits (and not a single walk). That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in March. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with two doubles, two RBI, and one run.

In other batting news, Audrey Fleckenstein was excellent, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Another player making a difference was Peyten Bowers, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one run.
