Volleyball Recap: Cumberland County Comes Up Short

Cumberland County lost against Metcalfe County last Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Panthers lost 3-0 to the Hornets.

While Cumberland County ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 20 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-20, 25-23.

Cumberland County's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Metcalfe County, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-4.

Cumberland County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Monroe County on the 9th. As for Metcalfe County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Clinton County on the 9th.
