Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Williston). They put the hurt on the Lafayette Hornets with a sharp 6-0 victory on Thursday. The result kept Williston happy, as they haven't lost a game since November 6th.

Williston is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-1-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those four contests. Having lost for the first time this season, Lafayette fell to 3-1-1.

Looking ahead, Williston will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against Trenton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Williston are facing Trenton at the right time seeing as Trenton are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Lafayette, they will challenge Taylor County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
