Basketball Game Preview: Elkin Buckin' Elks vs. Starmount Rams

Elkin hasn't had much luck against Starmount recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Elkin Buckin' Elks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Starmount Rams at 6:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Elkin is headed into Tuesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their sixth straight game on Friday. They lost 45-20 to Surry Central. Meanwhile, Starmount was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 46-41 to Mount Airy.

Starmount's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 13-7. As for Elkin, their loss dropped their record down to 7-13.
