Volleyball Recap: Ny'asia Carcamo Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Roosevelt

Gorton lost to Roosevelt back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Wolves walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Sharks. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wolves.

Gorton walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the fourth set). The final score came out to 25-19, 25-17, 23-25, 25-13.

Gorton's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ny'Asia Carcamo, who had nine aces and six digs. That's the most aces Carcamo has posted since back in September. Katie Rojas was another key player, getting 13 digs and two aces.

Gorton's record is now 10-6. As for Roosevelt, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-1.

As of now, neither Gorton nor the Sharks have any future games scheduled.
