Baseball Recap: Atlantis Comes Up Short

Atlantis and Ayer Shirley squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Atlantis had to settle for second. They came up short against the Panthers, falling 12-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Atlantis has suffered since April 30th.

Atlantis saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joseph Morias, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one double.

Atlantis dropped their record down to 9-10 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Ayer Shirley, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Atlantis nor Ayer Shirley have any future games scheduled.
