Sidney Parks posted a new career-low in hits on Saturday. She wasn't messing around, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits over five innings pitched. The pitching appearance was her sixth straight with one or fewer earned runs.

Looking ahead, Parks and Plainfield will welcome Decatur Central at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Parks has dominated as far as strikeouts are concerned (she's averaged 7.3 per game this season), but she's got her work cut out for her considering the Hawks have only allowed 3.46 per game this season.
