Volleyball Recap: Rock Hill Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Rock Hill challenged York on Saturday. The Bearcats fell 2-0 to the Cougars. The Bearcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cougars earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Hannah Anderson paced Rock Hill's offense, picking up five kills. Anderson got some help from Ella Lesslie and her four assists.

Rock Hill's loss dropped their record down to 9-13. As for York, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-4.

Rock Hill wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Nation Ford on the 7th. As for York, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Richland Northeast on the 7th.
