Baseball Recap: O'gorman Comes Up Short in High-Profile Game with Brandon Valley

O'Gorman faced Brandon Valley in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Knights might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 10-6 to the Lynx, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lynx apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Sully Schlimgen was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Brogan Moffitt also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

O'Gorman's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Brandon Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-4 record this season.

As of now, neither O'Gorman nor Brandon Valley have any future games scheduled.
