Baseball Recap: Broome Comes Up Short

Broome lost against Woodruff last Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Broome fell just short of Woodruff by a score of 6-5. The Centurions just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Dylan Ramirez was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.

Broome's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Woodruff, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 9-3.

Coming up, Broome will challenge Union County at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Woodruff, they will take on Blacksburg at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
