Softball Game Preview: Whitehall Norse vs. Pepin/Alma

Whitehall hasn't had much luck against Pepin/Alma recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Norse will head out to face off against Pepin/Alma at 5:00 p.m. Whitehall has given up an average of 9.8 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Whitehall fell victim to Melrose-Mindoro and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 13-0 to the Mustangs. The Norse have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Pepin/Alma waltzed into their game on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Lancers by a score of 7-2. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 25, 2023, but that streak is no more.

Pepin/Alma's win bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Whitehall, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-11.

Whitehall couldn't quite get it done against Pepin/Alma in their previous meeting back in April as they fell 17-12. Can the Norse avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
