It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Firth can now relate to. They took a 57-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wendell Trojans on Friday. The Cougars' defeat signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.

Wendell was led to victory by Jonathan Swainston and Jordon Swainston. Jonathan went 8-for-17 on his way to 24 points and three steals, while Jordon shot 50% from the field to rack up 23 points. That makes it five consecutive games in which Jonathan has scored at least a third of Wendell's points. Another player making a difference was Jett Jasper, who posted two points along with five rebounds and three blocks.

Firth's loss dropped their record down to 19-6. As for Wendell, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 16 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season.
