Softball Recap: Stagg's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Stagg waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past the Franklin Yellowjackets 14-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 20-0 back in March.

Rachael Symoungkhoune was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Aliana Chavez, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Stagg kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Franklin only managed seven hits.

Stagg's record is now 17-7. As for Franklin, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-13.

Stagg has already played their next contest, a 6-3 loss against Edison on the 5th. As for Franklin, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 16-3 defeat against Chavez on the 5th.
