Soccer Game Preview: Arleta vs. Poly

The Arleta Mustangs will venture away from home to take on the Poly Parrots at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

On Friday, Arleta and Sherman Oaks CES finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw.

Meanwhile, Poly waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They never let the Dons get on the board and left with a 3-0 win. Poly's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three matches.

Ernest Walker and Jeremy Hernandez scored all three of Poly's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 17 goals.

Arleta's draw gives them a new season record of 5-8-4. As for Poly, their victory bumped their record up to 11-4-1.
