Softball Recap: Hingham Comes Up Short

Hingham blew Hanover out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Monday Hanover got their revenge. The Harbormen fell just short of the Hawks by a score of 3-1. The match marked the Harbormen's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Hingham dropped their record down to 4-3 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Hanover, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hingham will head out to challenge Duxbury at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hanover, they will venture away from home to face off against Scituate at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Hawks are facing the Sailors at the right time seeing as the Sailors are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
