Davie proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by 15) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Forbush Falcons 6-4. The victory continues a trend for the War Eagles in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won three in a row.

Davie's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Forbush, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

The future could be bright for both Davie and Forbush: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Davie will look to extend East Forsyth's three-game losing streak when they meet at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Forbush will try to hand Starmount their third-straight loss when the two meet at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
