Basketball Recap: Lighthouse Baptist Academy Makes It 12 in a Row at Home

Lighthouse Baptist Academy had won two straight games and Jackson Dinkle did his part to make it three on Monday. The Lighthouse Baptist Academy Eagles came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 65-61 W against the Independent Baptist Academy Kings thanks in part to Dinkle, who posted 30 points. The game was his third in a row with at least 16 points.

Independent Baptist Academy's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jacob Rainey, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and 14 boards. Those 21 points gave Rainey a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeremiah Taplin, who put up 16 points and six rebounds.
