Baseball Recap: Jessieville Comes Up Short

Jessieville lost against Perryville back in March of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Lions came up short against the Mustangs, falling 15-1.

Jessieville saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kingston Morrow, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Jessieville dropped their record down to 3-7 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Perryville, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5-1 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jessieville will face off against Prescott at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Perryville, they will square off against Mayflower at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
