Desert Mirage is 0-10 against Coachella Valley since April of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Desert Mirage RAMS will head out on the road to take on the Coachella Valley Mighty Arabs at 3:30 p.m.
Desert Mirage was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell just short of Banning by a score of 13-11. Both teams can probably skip cardio this week after making that many trips around the bases.
Meanwhile, Coachella Valley entered their tilt with Cathedral City with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They had just enough and edged the Lions out 1-0. After a 19-2 finish the last time they played, Coachella Valley and Cathedral City decided to play a little more cautiously this time around.
Coachella Valley's victory was truly a team effort as two different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Isabel Inzunza, who went 1-for-2 with a stolen base.
Desert Mirage's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Coachella Valley, they pushed their record up to 11-10 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home.
