Softball Recap: Ste. Genevieve Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Ste. Genevieve's offense. They fell just short of the Oak Ridge Blue Jays by a score of 2-0 on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Hunter Dragons have suffered since March 21st.

Ste. Genevieve's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10-1. As for Oak Ridge, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 20-0.

Looking ahead, Ste. Genevieve will welcome Scott City at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Hunter Dragons' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Rams have averaged an impressive 7.6 runs per game this season. As for Oak Ridge, they will head out to face off against East Prairie at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
