Baseball Recap: Asheville Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Asheville Christian Academy fell victim to Grace Christian and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 10-0 to the Crusaders, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Asheville Christian Academy now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Grace Christian, they pushed their record up to 10-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Asheville Christian Academy will head out to face off against Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Grace Christian, they will welcome High Point Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. High Point Christian Academy will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Grace Christian surely won't give up without a fight.
