Soccer Recap: Gilbert Comes Up Short

After flying high against Camelback on Monday, Gilbert came back down to earth. The Tigers lost 3-0 to the Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions on Wednesday. If Gilbert were looking for revenge after losing 8-0 to Mountain Ridge when the teams met back in December of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Gilbert's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Mountain Ridge, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gilbert will welcome Corona del Sol at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mountain Ridge, they will be playing at home against Dobson at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
