Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Denver North). They never let the Denver West Cowboys get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Monday. Pearl Phillips had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Denver North.

The victory made it two in a row for Denver North and bumps their season record up to 4-2-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two matchups. As for Denver West, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Denver North will venture away from home to square off against George Washington at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Denver West, they will head out to take on DSST: Cedar at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
