Football Recap: Tongue River Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Tongue River extended their losing streak to five on Friday, dropping them down to 0-5. They took a blow against the Newcastle Dogies, falling 49-1. The contest marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Tj Watkins threw for 76 yards and one TD. Hagen Walker was his top target, picking up 48 receiving yards and one touchdown.

As for Newcastle, the win got them back to even at 2-2. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Newcastle's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dane Crabtree, who rushed for 92 yards and four scores on only nine carries. Teddy Troftgruben was another key player, rushing for 139 yards on only 15 carries.
