Boulder City barely beat Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Eagles put the hurt on the Pirate with a sharp 3-0 victory on Wednesday. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Boulder City walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-18, 25-19.

Ivy Dineen paced Boulder City's offense, picking up nine kills. Dineen got some help from Ally Jappe and her ten assists. Bella Battistone and Drew Schaper kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with four aces apiece.

The victory made it two in a row for Boulder City and bumps their season record up to 3-6.

Boulder City and Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Eagles are set to challenge their familiar foe Pahrump Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon will take on rival Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
