Basketball Recap: Wekiva Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Wekiva lost against Windermere back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Mustangs came up short against the Wolverines, falling 70-47. The game marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Wekiva and nudges their season record down to 4-2. As for Windermere, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Coming up, Wekiva won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against North Marion at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Windermere, they and Providence School will face off at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. The Wolverines will be up against the Stallions' rather soft defense (which has allowed 51.71 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
