Recap: Tiospaye Topa Thunderhawks vs. Bison Cardinals
The Tiospaye Topa Thunderhawks were the 84-55 winner over the Bison Cardinals when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Tiospaye Topa fell 48-36 to Bison on Tuesday.
Rylee Veal continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Bison, scoring 21 points along with six rebounds and six steals. The contest was Veal's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Colt Kopren was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds.
Tiospaye Topa's defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 2-7. As for Bison, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 1-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tiospaye Topa will challenge Timber Lake at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bison, they will head out on the road to face off against McIntosh at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. McIntosh is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
