Recap: China Spring Cougars vs. Robinson Rockets
The China Spring Cougars were the 72-32 winner over the Robinson Rockets when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. China Spring took a 53-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of Robinson on Tuesday. China Spring just can't catch a break and has now endured three losses in a row.
It was another big night for Trevor Stephens, who dropped a double-double on 28 points and 12 rebounds for Robinson. Stephens has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last six times he's played. Evan Moreno was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with six rebounds and three steals.
China Spring's loss dropped their record down to 12-15. As for Robinson, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-14.
China Spring will be playing at home against Salado at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Robinson, they will head out on the road to challenge Connally at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
