Softball Recap: Morgan City Takes a Loss

Morgan City managed to slip by Central Lafourche the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Tigers lost 17-1 to the Trojans on Wednesday. The Tigers just can't catch a break and have now endured six losses in a row.

Morgan City's defeat dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Central Lafourche, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Morgan City will host South Lafourche at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Central Lafourche, they will welcome A.J. Ellender at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
