Dayton had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14 runs) and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. Everything went their way against the Banks Braves as they made off with an 8-2 win. Considering the Pirates have won 16 matches by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Dayton pushed their record up to 19-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.8 runs over those games. As for Banks, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-8-1.

Looking ahead, Dayton will take on Douglas at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Banks, they will head out to challenge Scappoose at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games the Indians have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
