Baseball Game Preview: Franklin County Flyers vs. Great Crossing

For the second straight game, Franklin County will face off against Great Crossing. The Flyers will welcome Great Crossing at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday.

Things were looking good for Franklin County after they put the first run on the board on Wednesday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell just short of Great Crossing by a score of 4-3. The Flyers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

For Great Crossing's part, the team relied heavily on Landen Walters, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

The victory (which was Great Crossing's eighth in a row) raised their record to 13-2. As for Franklin County, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-16.
