Volleyball Recap: Mayer Wildcats vs. Grand Canyon Phantoms
Mayer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Grand Canyon Phantoms. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Phantoms apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2021.

Mayer's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Grand Canyon, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Mayer will be playing at home against Desert Star at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Grand Canyon, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat vs. El Capitan on the 13th.
