Soccer Recap: Blue Ridge Comes Up Short

Blue Ridge lost against Landrum back in April of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Blue Ridge Fighting Tigers fell just short of the Landrum Cardinals by a score of 3-2.

Ella Vanzant wasn't going to let Landrum walk away unscathed as she scored both of Blue Ridge's goals, bringing her season total up to three goals.

Blue Ridge now has a losing record of 0-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Blue Ridge will take on Pickens at 5:30 p.m. on March 11th. As for Landrum, they will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against York Prep at 6:00 p.m. on March 11th.
