Basketball Recap: Whittemore-Prescott Takes a Loss

Whittemore-Prescott was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Tawas Area Braves 49-17. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Braves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 51-16 back in January.

Whittemore-Prescott's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Tawas Area, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Whittemore-Prescott will take on Hale at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Hale will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something Whittemore-Prescott surely won't give up without a fight. As for Tawas Area, they will challenge Alcona at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
