Softball Recap: Jefferson Comes Up Short

Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 10-0 to the Airport Jets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Jets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 back in April.

Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Airport, their victory bumped their record up to 14-3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Jefferson will head out to square off against Melvindale at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Airport, they will venture away from home to face off against Flat Rock at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
