Soccer Recap: Northeast Early College Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three games, Northeast Early College finally came back down to earth on Friday. They came up short against the Austin Achieve Polar Bears, falling 4-1. The Raiders were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Polar Bears earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Northeast Early College's goal came courtesy of Roger Amador, who's now up to ten this season.

Northeast Early College's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 8-1 and their overall record down to 11-2. As for Austin Achieve, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-4.

Northeast Early College has already played their next match, a 1-0 win against LBJ Austin on the 17th. As for Austin Achieve, they will host Lago Vista at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Austin Achieve is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.4 goals per game this season.
