League recap: Bridgewater-Raynham enters state Top 25 with win

Bridgewater-Raynham was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after besting Xaverian Brothers. The Trojans came in at 19 in the state poll after placing at number 26 last week.

Bridgewater-Raynham led Old Colony in scoring this week after putting up 32 points on the Hawks.

Dartmouth's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Indians feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Dalton Soares has thrown for 67 yards and one touchdown this season, while Austin Williams has one catch for 41 yards. Tim Smith leads the league in rushing with 100 yards.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when Daniel Buron's team takes on Dartmouth. As it stands, the Trojans are in second, while the Indians are in third.

Bridgewater-Raynham made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 2,139 from 2,485. The improvement came about via a 32-27 victory over Xaverian Brothers last week.
