Basketball Recap: Colonia Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Colonia can now relate to. They took a 52-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ramapo Raiders. The loss continues a trend for the Patriots in their meetings with the Raiders: they've now lost five in a row.

Ramapo found their leader in freshman Aj Greig, who went 9-for-19 on his way to 24 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Greig has scored all season. Finn Marrah was another key player, putting up seven points.

Colonia's defeat dropped their record down to 24-5. As for Ramapo, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-10.

Colonia does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ramapo, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 54-46 loss against Colts Neck on the 15th.
